The nearest airport is Tezpur (Salonibari), about 6–7 hrs away. Guwahati (LGBI Airport) has the most flight options, about 9–10 hrs by road.
By train
The nearest railheads are Rangapara North and Tezpur. Guwahati is the major railway junction with connections across India.
By taxi / bike
Hire a taxi from Tezpur or Guwahati, or ride in. Fuel up at Bhalukpong or Bomdila. Parking is available at the homestay.
Permits
Inner Line Permit (ILP) for Arunachal Pradesh
Indian citizens from outside Arunachal Pradesh need an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to enter the state. It can be applied for online through the official Arunachal Pradesh e-ILP portal, or obtained at the Bhalukpong check gate. Foreign nationals need a Protected Area Permit (PAP).
